T5 4 Bulb Soil Lemon Skunk x Diesel Pictures Included

I have another grow that will be using this tent once it is big enough (DWC in my sig) but for now I have a soil plant sitting in it. Just trimmed it up today, and I got it from a friend two days ago. Did a little topping as well.

-T5 4 Bulb 2x 3000k, 2x 6400k
-dR60 Grow Tent (24"x24"x64")
-10 Gallon Pot
-Friend's organic soil

Not sure what the soil is (my friend is big into organic so I'm sure it's great) and I am watering it with MaxiBloom, some Vermi-T, and B'Cuzz Bloom. Just started 12/12 today. Here's some pics, just before the timer goes off. I want to test the old theory that switching from 24/0 to 12/12 results in a lot of stretching.

Well the plants DEFINITELY stretched from switching light cycles. The top branches got about 1" taller, and the side branches grew out about 1/2" - 1"

So it's been flowering for about 5 days, and the tops I clipped are growing some kind of strange leaves... My friend said this strain tops kind of funny but I wasn't expecting it to look like this. There's a slightly browned leaf in one of the pictures but it's recovering from the stress of being transferred to the bigger. Looks like it's doing well, and I've trimmed off all of the small branches that aren't really getting light. Took about 3 good sized branches, but the tops are definitely benefiting well.















What do you guys think?

This creates a problem, since I need to open the vents or it gets really warm in there (80-83.) Here's my question: Will my plant be okay with a little extra heat for a day (it got water yesterday so it shouldn't dry out), or should I just open one of the vents an hour early and hope what little light might leak in doesn't make it hermie?

My room gets to 80-85 sometimes and they seem fine. I would say its time to figure out a more permanent solution. Make a corner or an S in your vent somehow and leave it open.

I feel you though , My room is devided by Panda plastic , and it has a zipper so everyday when lights come on I go inside to unzip it and let the air flow better. I too need to get a better solution, what I really need is a very small solar powered fan to move the air between my two rooms when the lights are on

Ya it's a pain... I turned my fan speed up (it really is only focusing on the stalk anyways =/) and this has pretty much fixed that issue. Doesn't hit the plant with much force at all, just enough to stir all the leaves up.

I can't wait until she's flowered enough to start getting some bud porn up here.

there are some who believe cutting the apical bud can be detrimental to plants health. I know topping can increase yields but tend to follow the mantra of "train before topping"

top dressing your plant with powdered herbs (yarrow, nettle, comfrey, kelp) and earthworm castings will increase your CEC and nutrient uptake if you were thinking about pulling worthy smokes off that...

Thank you for the advice, but I really don't have the money, or ability to get those. Mostly because I have no idea where/how to get them. EDIT: Not trying to sound rude here, I'm just kind of broke right now.

I'm currently watering with 1500ppm MaxiBloom.

Switched my bulbs around, now the 2 6400K veg bulbs are in the middle, and the 2 3000k bulbs are on the sides. The light looks much warmer, so hopefully I'll see some slightly improved growth.

The buds are starting to get nice and stinky, almost a citrus smell to it.

It's already starting to smell? Damn, mine still smell just like any old plant (well, they're starting to get the faaaintest hint of mj smell) and from looks of it both of our plants are pretty much the same 'age.' Guess it doesn't help that mine are just some year old bag seed lol
Really can't wait for actual buds to start showing up and not just a hairy mess. How much longer would you guess yours has to go? I was hoping to be able to harvest sometime early April but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen...

I think I'm cutting down Mid-May. I'm not sure though, these buds might just be aging really fast. They take 1800PPM MaxiBloom with no problem, and its only week 3. I'm not sure if this is an 8 or 11 week flower though, it might just be an 8.

Mmmm the girlfriend brought me back some Belgian chocolate from Europe. She just got back to Denver. Met her with a fat joint and she gave me a bottle of champagne and a bunch of awesome chocolate. Best girlfriend ever. >.<

That does look good , I think your T-5s may just give you some dank!

Honestly your t5 seems to be treating your plants just as well as my 400whps! looks like I may have made a poor investment lol
