Two, I can do without people forcing their agnosticism/atheism onto me, I was raised in an atheistic family, so I've heard my fair share of it, I just chose to reject it; so I try and avoid doing the same with my faith.
Thirdly, my faith is my own, and I prefer keeping it that way...
Having said that, nice to see this thread on the boards.

Why is this? I see so many posts about agnosticism and atheism and it upsets me to see barely anyone, if anyone, repping Christianity. Is it a lack or faith, or lack of Saved out there?
Speak up! Come on!
Your on a for the devils plant

I have recently stopped tokin' the leaf. Why?
I still have yet to know.
But some part of me feels, to have a close relationship, I should try and stop.
Been 3 years since I started. 3 very short years.
I cannot risk burning in hell, until I figure things out.
God bless gc, and my fellow brothers.

That doesn't mean people who smoke aren't spiritual or don't believe in something other than what our eyes can see, but following a dogmatic religion that has a pretty ridiculous basis isn't really what stoners are normally into.

While dogmatism might not be their thing, many stoners make equally ridiculous claims as Christians, many under the guise of atheism. You see it everyday in this here forum.
Many of the Christian haters on this site possess a dogmatism which, while antithetical to mainstream Christianity, mirrors it in exactly every way.

It's not at all the same, but I see what you're getting at.

Partly because its the internet and what comes with letting people know your beliefs is hate, and partly because i think more people are focused on other aspects of the forum
Funny how atheism comments weasel their way into MANY a topic, I've noticed... And there are very few christian posts in *this* section devoted to philosophy

Don't worry about burning in hell. After all the rest of us non-Christians in China, virtually all of SE Asia, all the Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Budhists etc will be going there too. You'll be in good company. Smoke up!
Hey, buddy. As long as you're pure of heart and intention, and accept Christ as your savior, then you're good to go
No disrespect honestly, but when a person smokes cannabis, their mind is expanded to new points of view and can see things much more clearly and usually when thinking about Christianity, it doesn't take long to realize there is not really much truth to the modern/literal interpretation of the bible.

Don't question the truth of my religion, or speak as if you're some otherworldly and enlightened being. I've smoked too, and I reconcile it with my religion just fine (Genesis 1:29) and just because you recognize the scope and intricacies of the universe, ranging from string theories to dark matter and other quantum mechanics, it's all breathtaking that my God would put so much detail and work into creating such a fascinating habitat for myself and fellow men.
Don't say my religious basis is ridiculous, it's just a nasty thing to say. You're just looking for trouble. I know PLENTY of smokers at my church and local area churches that are just as involved as I am. Herb and religion reconcile just fine, and is hardly different in purpose than the "transcending incense" burned in Catholic churches for communing.
If it's not your cup of tea, well, then this isn't the thread for you. I just hope you can respect our differences in philosophy.

Well I did say honestly no disrespect. I was just giving you my opinion on why not many blades here are christian.
And if you don't ask questions and simply follow, you will never have the truth. You must seek to find it.
---------------
Let me ask you this...have you researched the origin of the Bible? Do you know what scriptures have been left out? Have you read the Gospel of Thomas? Do you know who Constatine is?
If you said no to any of those questions and wish to know the truth, then I suggest you to dig a little deeper and research your religion more.
Again I'm not disrespecting you or your religion...I'm just pointing out some things you may have missed.

I'm honestly not even bashing it, although you could argue otherwise.. i'm simply just trying to spread some logical thinking because I put much value to it and I think everyone else should too, it will make this world a better place.
Anyways, you read that.. I know it won't change anything but I just want you to know my opinion JUST in case

You can't say no disrespect and then... Well... Disrespect me. Was this not covered in The Other Guys?
And this is not a trial of my faith, or my pursuit of truth. Quit making it out to be one. I'm sufficiently versed in scripture, both within and beyond the King James texts. Please, just leave. I've had my share of tribulations and am confidant in my faith, and the truth behind it.
You are trolling, and I won't take part in it anymore. If you have anything nice to say, or anything that does not question the nature of my religion, feel free to post it, if not, find another audience because I won't play your games.

lol if me asking you some questions is disrespecting you, well then...idk
I'm just trying to have some constructive and polite conversation. There is no need to take offense.
I'm not understanding why we can't have a conversation? Maybe you know something I don't and I'm trying to learn from you? Geez man...
