So there's several feral colonies of monkeys in the united states, One in Texas two in Florida and One in south Carolina .
Some on reservations,Some Zoo escapees and some for chemical testing But all of them wild .
Its a small group but its still crazy to see wild monkeys roaming around in the united states that aren't behind cages.

Dude.... a few years back a few friends and myself saw a fucking god damn money hanging out in a tree, and NO ONE believed us.... and we all saw it... it was fucking right there in a tree.... I always said it must have been a test subject escapee or something but i was deemed to be "seeing things" and no one fucking believed us hahahahahahha

Probably was, I'm sure there's test sites all over america.
Or it could have been a pet, theres a pet monkey owner right in my apartments

I see no problem here.
If america had monkeys everywhere it would be bad ass,but monkeys and tigers roaming around like deer would be even cooler.

Hell yeah. Deer are boring. I'd rather do up some monkey jerkey anyway.

I've seen the Silver Monkeys in Florida. It's so cool!

I hope there's a sudden unexplained boom in monkey/chimp population.

Of coure, the un-natural intro of Everglade snakes will probably find them and eat them. That shit needs to get worked out fast, btw.

One time when I was a little kid me and my mom were going door to door selling magazines for school, and when went to this one house, then a money jumped out from behind the front door. The fucking monkey wrapped its self around my moms leg and started biting her knee.

Monkeys are fucking crazy.

Hmm...

GTFO.
They are feral in that they live, feed and reproduce in the wild with little human interference .
But when a lab needs one they come and take em.
They are wild as any animal.

So.. I find this kinda sad actually..

3,500 wild monkeys stuck on an island where hundreds are taken every year for testing alone.

Monkeys relocated to Texas cause they were gunna be killed.

But other than that. Cute as fuck.

Its very sad.But at least they have a chance to live in the wild.
Personally I'm against animal testing.

But the Texas monkeys are federally protected now.
