The Residence Bong (perc and ac!) [56k]
I've been at UWO for a few months now, so me and WetHorseLips decided to buy a bong instead of using shitty homemade waterbottle bongs...

We went to a few places until we found this awesome place called Almost Paradise. We got the guy to drop the price of it, and we paid $60 for this... I think it's definitely a good deal.

The ash catcher makes this thing even more smooth, and keeps it nice and clean. However I still find the percolator gets clogged sometimes, so I have to wash it out... better to keep it clean anyway. I just cleaned it here...




What have I been smoking out of it? Beautiful champagne kush and morrocan hash...

So goooooood... mmmmmm... anyone have any ideas why the percolator is still getting clogged with bud? The slits are getting gummed up, yet we have an ashcatcher and now probably are gonna continue using a screen as well. I know that it will still get yellowed and what not, but there are literally chunks of bud in there.

Well its not bud, it's just resin - but still... It gets clogged pretty quickly. Not really too hard to clean out though so whatever...

I would still like to know if there is a way to prevent it?

I have a two perc beaker base and I haven't needed to clean the percs once. The only reason I can think of as to why yours is getting dirty is because you're putting too much water in the bong and when you pull on it, it splashes up into the perc.

Really eh?

But this is just resin, not bud. And we use good bud too so I have no idea. We usually put just enough water to fill past the slits in the downstem - so I don't see how that could be too much. It doesn't bubble so much that it's splashing up so...

That's actually plausible...

Maybe we should fill it up less... like literally, barely any... if that don't work, I dunnnooo...

the water only needs to be a little above the bottom of your diffy. anything else just adds drag pretty much.
