Grinders and storage

So I just got a new grinder and I was wondering how all of you use your grinders.

From what I've seen/read you cant store anything in most grinders as they are not air tight, so my question is this, should I grind up the entire 1/8 and store the kief and the resulting goodness in mason jars, or should I just store my buds in a mason jar and then only grind what I intend to smoke? My thoughts are that it doesn't matter either way but I thought I'd ask in case I was missing something.

id say keep the nugs in mason jars and grind only what you intend to smoke

I grind up about a 2 to 3 days supply. Being that I vape, I prefer the bud to be a bit dry.

keep all the nugs in jars until you are about to smoke them otherwise they tend to dry out and the smoke is much more harsh which in return means less enjoyable.

Just to update my own thread with my own findings. I ground up 1 cola that I had and smoked some immediately, very nice. I stored the rest in my mason jar with the rest of my bud. A week later I smoked the stuff that I had ground up earlier in the week later, harsh as hellllll. In conclusion I will only grind what I intend to smoke immediately. The bud that was harsh was helped a little bit by leaving it in a steamy bathroom for 5-10 minutes before smoking it to moisten it back up. FYI my 2 tests were done with a glass bong.
