Free Plant

Hey, so my buddy has 14 plants growing. Just stuff he started from a mix of bought seeds and seeds that were in our bud we bought. He says he'll give me one, but I don't have any type of grow setup or anything. If its a free plant i'll take it and see what happens, but I don't have most if any of the stuff I would need to have a professional grow situation.

What should I do with it?

plant it outside in a nice sunny spot, water, cross your fingers and wait

See if you can get this thread moved to the "Marijuana Cultivation" forum. There are a lot of experienced growers there that will be happy to help you out.

You can get started VERY easily by buying a few CFLs. If it's free, what have you got to lose?

yeah if i were you id go indoors with CFL lights. you need one type for veg one for flowering. You will need nutes as well if you want big buds. Search online for nutrients and lights. You could put it in a safe spot outside but the chances of success with a new person outdoors is lower then indoors.

Just so you know all the work could be for nothing, since its just one plant and its random bag seed it could be a Male and the month or two you spent growing it in veg would basicly be for nothing because you will get no buds what so ever........well i shouldn't say all for nothing you would still get the first hand experience of growing and identifying male or female and the male does make a little bho or hash

If he is offering you the plant and you can not care for it tell him to give you the harvested material from one plant since that is what you would be doing anyways he is just growing it for you.

I'll probably end up taking the plant and putting it outside somewhere. I have seeds I could just give to him and have him grow those. I hope he wouldn't charge me for anything harvested.
