Hair Test Scheduled (African Descent) Please advice, am i clean????

Here is my situation. I was introduced to smoking in the summer of 2006, and I smoked the whole summer. I stopped because I had a bad trip and never touched it since then.

I made the mistake of smoking this year on January 10th (I smoked quite a bit, I took about 20-40 puffs, I don't know how potent it was, I was high but nothing I couldn't handle), it's been 88 days exactly. I'm worried. I have a hair test, it is the Quest Diagnostics Hair-5 test coming up for a job.

Like I pointed out, I'm of African descent, right now the hair on my head is less than an inch, my facial hair is about 1.5 inch and my body hair is normal.

What are my odds of passing this test? What precautions can I take? I heard body hair can be used also, but is more likely to be tested as positive.

Should I just cut all my hair off, including body hair? It is pretty normal for black guys to have low cuts and I'll just say I have sweating issues, so I have to cut my body hair off...

Will this be a red flag, I'm just trying to buy more time.

Tests can only legally go back 90 days, so yes you are good man. I'm 100% sure you will get it. Also, if its a week longer, or however longer your good.

i'm not 100% sure as i have no experience with a hair test, but if you have no hair anywhere i think it might raise a red flag. not to say it'd get you fired, but it might prevent you from getting hired.

I "trimmed" most of my body hair below 1 inch and cut down my armpits. I did this a while ago so when I go in to test it wouldn't look like a "fresh" cut. I mean, there are guys that cut their armpits, it wouldn't look completely suspect, right?

The only hair I have really is my eyebrows and the hair on my head, I plan to push the test date to the best of my ability. Maybe I can get 105days clean at that point.

I've read that if they cannot collect enough hair, they sometimes supplement with a urine test. My hair is very short, that's not me hiding anything, I just like low cuts.

Logically, I know 1.5 inch dates back to 90 days and I have less than 1.5 inch of hair and I've been clean for more than 90 days.

I've heard it can get you up to 12 months if they test slow growing hair like body hair. My buddy had a hair test and he cut pretty much every inch of his body hair short, and shaved his head. He however did not trim his pubes and they apparently cut a big chunk out of them. He ended up failing the test, but he had smoked 2 months prior.

If you cut all your hair off, be sure and cut ALL of your hair off.
Just cuz your head is bald, they WILL get a hair sample from ANYWHERE that there is hair on your body.

I dont know anything about hair test, Better safe then sorry right? Ive heard that it can stay in your hair for years, I don't know how accurate that information is though. Best of luck, do your research.

I've found that legally they can only go back 90 days.

u can have thc in your system as long as it is a reading of less then .10 legally they cant even report it bc it shows your not a habitual smoker
