Hell I forgot to add all those into my favorites. All those are really good action anime like chocobo said. Hellsing is a pretty good one of action to, its kinda trippy as well and has a whole lot of gore in it to. Also im down to update everytime I watch something new.

My roomates run Anime Central out of Chicago IL. I personally don't like anime AT ALL, but it seems to bring alot of people enjoyment to alot of people, and that is pretty cool in my book.

I absolutely LOVE Sergeant Frog (Also known as Keroro Gunsō) when I'm high. I can't get enough of it. It is full of Japanese culture and cuteness. Stay away from the new dub by funimation. They butchered it.



Just curious, but did anyone else go to Otakon this year? Found a lot of great new anime to watch

Old school Anime is where it's at. I've been watching Anime since the 70's, Yamato, Gatchaman, Gundam...those shows all rock harder than the crap they're pushing now.

Rurouni Kenshin is possibly my favourite TV show period.

Other than that, I also highly enjoy watching Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and several other series.

This is very true. Deathnote was the first entire series I watched and I can say that it was a major reason I got into anime. Same for a couple people I know.

I see alot of you mentioning Hellsing. What about Hellsing Ultimate? Now THAT shit is awesome! Gantz is one of my all-time favorite series EVER! If you like Gantz give Elfen Lied a try. And if you want something a little out-of-the-ordinary you might be interested in Red Garden. Tokko is a new take on splatter-gore, and while the story pisses itself out part-way through, it's more than fun enough for the ride itself. As for new series, I'm looking to order Higurashi: When They Cry later this week. I've got some downloaded eps from a friend but one of the Japanese voice actresses has a super-high-pitched voice that grates my nerves worse than any modern dub I've heard. Couldn't even finish da first ep.

I'm sorry to come in here and crash the party, but i get bored easily by anime. I've tried to watch it a few times, but the storylines never grab my attention. Make a metal gear solid anime or a resident evil one, and i'd be down though
