Nausicaa was one of my least favorite of the Studio Ghibli collection. However, Castle in the Sky takes it all the way for me. So much happening, such beautiful artwork, etc... I was also pretty partial to Kiki's Delivery Service.

well c'mon it was the first one in the collection,
you have to excuse the intermittent butchery of the cheesy electro music

the music throughout all of the other ones is perfection

Nausicaa is amazing in its own right,
it may not be right up there but it deserves credit

I love the film, don't get me wrong. I just found myself loving the others a little more. I can't put my finger on why either.

I've been watching for several years now, from when dbz started on american television and then expanding out into actual fansubbed work. I'm actually between shows right now, but there's a convention coming up this week that I'm hoping sparks my interest in something new.

I just finished:
D.Gray Man
Samurai 7
Soul Eater
Zombie Loan
Darker than Black
Denno Coil
Gundam00: Season 2
A whole shit ton of Naruto and Bleach episodes.

Yeah, I'm a big fan.

i love anime, but i have to keep it on the DL for the most part because i know my friends don't get it. they know i'm into it, but i know they'd never give it a chance so i don't even bother. it's a shame that they're so closed minded. by the way- who is the artist on your video? i know i've heard them/him before. i think they were on a mix my sister's boyfriend made for me. anyway, FLCL is great! since i'm an animation geek- i just love the creativity involved- that show was jizztastic for me.

they animated it SO well!! it's art!!!!!

Hayao Miyizaki is also a god. brilliant films =D

Perfect Blue is a very cool anime. I thought it was going to be a bit wishy wasy like most anime's focused on a girl, but this one had blood and guts, so A+, haha.

One of my fave anime's I like to do just that with on a regular basis. Soooo, anyone around here that's lookin to make some stone-taku friends, hit me up! And for those of you talkin' bout FLCL, it's Gainax! Of course it's fuckin' bad-ass! ifn yall liked that, check out Dead Leaves. It's a short OVA, but it's damn good. and of course, high or not anyone that liked FLCL needs to see Gurren Lagann. That shit will lead you on, twist you turn you blow your fuckin' mind and leave you desperate for more. Anyone else lookin for recommendations, questions, comments, etc, here I am.
