Finished Special A. Nothing extraordinary, but it my type of anime. A lot of slapstick humor and over done at times, romance, with the slice of life aspect. Not to mention my style of animation. Loved it.

Starting Kemeko Deluxe! today. I don't really know what else to start. I wish it was already a few months down the road so that some of the new series that have come out would be done.

Death Note a good show to watch while you wait for subs. I watched Death Note when it first came out and dropped it 30 minutes into the 1st episode. For one, the video source was horrible (AVI) and I found the art style especially boring. If it wasn't for Ryuzaki I probably would have never finished it.

Hope this isn't too far off-topic. Didn't want to start a thread and clutter the forum since there's already this anime thread.

Was just wondering if anyone has satellite or digital cable and know if any anime is airing currently? Thought Chill did on Mondays but not entirely certain. Does Cartoon Network still have anything?
But yeah, some channels/days/times would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows anything.

I think cartoon network might still be doing bleach. I can tell you for sure, I haven't had tv since I moved out in April. I know the Sci-fi channel does an anime monday. Also, depending on your provider, you can order an anime channel. I think it's $6 a month or something to add it.

Adult Swim on CN has been going downhill ever since they stopped showing anime every weeknight..most of their original programming makes me cringe..they still show some stuff on Saturday though.

Sci-fi channel shows some stuff (no idea when though), and Funimation has their own channel (I think you need Comcast or Verizon FioS or something). If dubs aren't your cup of tea, the internet is truly the ultimate resource

Death Note was good. Its one of the few newer animes I can actually watch. They didn't drag it out at all either only around 35 episodes.

I suppose technically Full Metal Panic! could, but more than likely Last Exile would be closer (never seen the latter personally, but hear it's good.) Geasaraki, Pumpkin Scissors, Area 88, Macross Zero, Jin-Roh, Nana Toshi Monogatari, Blue Submarine no. 6 also come to mind.

If you don't mind more of a futuristic spin then you can't lose with Gundam, especially the original series that started it all Mobile Suit Gundam and forward titles in the Universal Century story arc.
