Role Playing Games- Why have'nt I seen any threads on this. If you're a fan of RPG's discuss it here. I'm looking for some new shit to get into.
Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Tales Of-, Breath Of Fire, Legend Of Zelda, Zone Of The Enders, Riviera, Lunar Legend, Golden Sun, Advanced Wars, Ect.

Now I <333 Oblivion, and was addicted to Morrowind a few years back.

Oh yeah! I completely forgot about Fable. That game is fun as hell. Evil ftw!

I also really liked Jade Empire. That was a fun RPG with a beautiful environment.

true, gotta love morrowind, I've played morrowind a whole lot longer than I have oblivion tho

Fable was pretty good, although I found it reallly easy, a challenge, I would like to have like a Ninja Gaiden rpg, or maybe mmorpg? gotta love the action

anyone ever play the rpgs for nintendo? i just got dragon warrior 3 which is pretty dank. i also bought final fantasy (ya, the first one!). hahaha im a little behind the times.

almost done with part 1- just reached Garland.. Riviera is a very good game. i think it's cool how every final fantasy is the same just with rearrangement of characters and pieces.

console rpgs annoy me to no end, they're designed for little kids and grinding rpgs with the only real goal being leveling up, such as WoW, suck big donkey balls.

now nethack, fallout 1/2, baldurs gate 1/2, planescape torment, system shock 1/2 and deus ex: those were real rpgs (well SS and Deus ex not as much but their rpg gameplay and story still beat the pants off any final fantasy...) Its too bad there aren't any big developers taking the time to build a good plot driven rpg that don't skimp on the roleplaying mechanics these days. we'll see how Bethesda treats fallout 3, but it won't be the same.

and of course, to be perfectly anal, its not the morrowind series, its the elder scroll series. Morrowind was but the third game in the series. Daggerfall was a better game (story & gameplay wise, not coding or graphics obviously) than both oblivion and morrowind

I love me a good RPG. My favorites are Final Fantsy I, Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario RPG (anyone else a fan?) Oblivion, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, Chrono Trigger, Contact (DS), and Final Fantasy III. If you want to count more action/adventure games with RPG elements, then I love Castlevania games (almost every 2D one), Zelda II, Paper Mario (N64), Fire Emblem, Children of Mana, The World Ends With You, and my list goes on.

I am playing FFXII now. I am just lvling right now and trying to get amor and such. But I don't mind. I always get all my chara to 99 anyways. I hate going in to a dongon or something and getting compelety raped. I would rather it be the other way around. lol, the only GB I have evr had was the orignal one. I wasn't in to advanced and color and all that other crap.

FFXII is one of my favorites, really took me over. I was 80 hours into it when my PS3 got stolen with the disc inside. I loved 7, 8, 9 and T as well. I'm beggining 6 and played FFXI for a couple years online.
