The new GTA

i just rented it its siiiick
the graphics are way better, everythings waay more realistic (sounds, actions) and like you can actually hide and shoot behind cover

Yea man it's a great game so far . Some new features are , 1. Cops will actually try to arrest you at gunpoint ( instead of just shooting you at first ) , 2. When you're stealing someones car , that persons hand may get stuck in the door as you drive away ( dragging the pedistrian down the street ) , 3. You can drop people by shooting their legs , and 4 . pedistrians are extremely life-like ( it's fun messing with them and running them over ) . That's obviously not all the new features , but these are just some cool new things that I've noticed .

I have some problems with it, but I havent gone online yet, and the details in the game (not graphic wise, but just the little details like cars using turn signals and shit) are excellent. I cant stand the controlls on foot and in vehicle, and the camera angles get wacky sometimes.

It definitely has a slightly different control scheme ( although you can change it to "classic" controls from the option menu . ) I have just been using the classic controls , not use to R2 being accelerate . This is a big leap for the gta series .

GTA3 , vice city , and san andreas were all pretty similar in how they played . GTA4 is still similar to the other titles , but it really shows some evolution of the series ...In my opinion .

i just picked it up and its installing now..ive played a little earlier and the driving is hella wacky, but the graphics are intense and i havent even seen it on a HD tv yet..

but im pumped probably aint gonna sleep tonight, GTA is the one game that keeps me playin.

Its sick. GTA is probably my favorite game series. Its cool how they incorporated some modern day features, like having a cell phone, being able to call anyone you want and take them out for food, drinks, bowling, etc. It has a more simulation feeling this time i think.

The online play is so cool. It works flawless, and of course there are many people playing so no wait times. I really like that there are so many different online game modes.

I do play on an HDTV (50" panasonic plasma) and its so sweet. this is what the game is meant to be!

the ending is pretty weak

not to mention can't buy houses(What the fuck kind of dumb mistake?)

You can't do anything with most of your cash, which means by the end of the game when you easily have 500-600k its all pretty much useless

not to mention the missions pretty much boil down to the same thing over and over again, and most of it loses its charm after the first week

online is pretty fun though

oh yeah, and you can fly drunk, thats always a good feature
