GTA4 coming out early

Take Two Interactive just confirmed at the company's annual general meeting that Grand Theft Auto IV has gone gold. "Trucks are rolling next week and there will be a lot of them", the executive said, confirming that the game discs will be making their way to stores next week ahead of the game's release on April 29th


Same thing happened wit Uncharted & Kane and Lynch.....

April 29th is still the set date but yea if it comes in early you will probably get a call from the store you pre-ordered it from

Sounds like bullshit to me. I've lost track of how many times I've heard the same damn thing with other games, and then still have it released on the date they originally set.

Not really. I was very disappointed to see that the screwdriver from Vice City wasn't a weapon in San Andreas. My favourite thing to do was run around gleefully stabbing hookers and businessmen with it. Slitting peoples' throats in SA was fun, but just not the same as repeatedly impaling someone with a screwdriver. And the things that really surprised me was the fact that you could no longer rob stores. Sure, you could now break into peoples' houses instead, but knocking over a liquor store and making an epic getaway in a golf cart is just so much better.

Have to say I disagree , san andreas was much better than vice city ( in my opinion ) . It just seemed like you had so much more space to roam around in in san andreas , like all of the countryside . Not to mention being able to skydive out of planes and ride dirtbikes off of giant mountains . Either way , all gta games so far have been extremely entertaining , I'm sure that gta4 will not be a disapointment .

P.S. I still prefer to beat them dead with a giant double-sided dildo .

I never said VC was better than SA. In fact, I think it's worse. All I'm saying is that they left a few good features out that were in VC, and that kind of irritated me.

naw man a gta that goes through all eras
like driverarallel lines did , for any one that didnt play it the game starts of set in the 60s and everything is like the 60s its cool but then u got to jail for 20 years and when u come out all the cars have changed as well as maps and almost all models and textures,very cool game
but gta 4 will rock ive been waiting on this since 26th of october 2007 when they said they were going to release it
