east - celtics, pistons, magic, cavs,

west - lakers, mavericks, spurs, rockets

West has so many variables and there are several key players injured but awaiting playoff return. the fact that 2nd and 3rd are close and could change and we have a three way tie from 4-6 (not counting tie breakers)

i feel sorry for the wizards having to play the cavs again.. .i'm almost hoping for an upset here just to stir the pot on the east a little bit.

The Wizards could be the dark horse in the East. I am impressed as usual with Lebron, but I have a feeling the cavs are going to have a real tough time in the post season.

The cavs certainly arent a favorite to win the east, but they do have the attention of everybody else. Last season everyone had their eye on Lebron, but nobody thought he could get them past the Pistons and into the finals....but we saw what they were really made of when that happend.

Teams are going to attack cleveland and you better believe that Lebron wont get a free pass to the finals this year as he did last year....especially if they happen to play the Pistons again.

By "free pass" I mean he wont be getting easy layups and dunks this year....especially if he has to face Detroit once again.

Yea hes a monster, but what happend to him in the finals last year? Oh thats right....San Antonio defended him.

Truly "great" teams show an ability to win on the road consistently. When has Utah done that? LMAO. How can you expect Utah to do WONDERS in the playoffs if they blow on the road? Give me a break.

I am rooting for a Lakers/Celtics finals. How epic would that be? David Stern would be jerking it for the entire off-season. I think it is more than realistic for that match-up to happen. Boston and Detroit lead the East, then everyone else. Washington can beat Cleveland, especially after last year's embarrassment. In the West, no one is playing better than the Lakers right now. If Bynum can come back and give them 15 solid minutes, this team will be hard to beat. Gasol is the key though. If he can stay in the game and be productive on BOTH ends, who is going to beat them? Not the Hornets, not the Rockets, not Spurs. Maybeeee the Suns. Should be a great battle.

I've been picking the Suns the last few years, kinda tired of them...but with Shaq healthy, I dont know...I might reconsider picking them again this year..."not!

I'm going old school also - Celtics vs lakers - Lakers in 6.

Haha, whatever man. I've been on the Lakers bandwagon since early in the season. No one thought they'd be in this position, including myself. I liked this team early on but now they have become something totally different, something special. Think what you want, I'm totally cool either way. Not sure what you're trying to go at but whatever.
