exactly... the west is being dominated by the top three seeds... that's really no surprise there since it was predicted that way. the only surprise is that no one predicted teams would be knocked out so quick but the east man... boston was set in the books to win 4-0 and detroit shared pretty much the same fate. for all the gamblers out there.. the east is breaking or making men with each and every game at least with the way boston and detroit are playing

im from georgia and ive always been a hawks fan but i havent kept up with them until this year and me and my uncle (went driving down, west colorado, west texas bound. +1000 to whoever gets that) went to the hawks celtics game 4 game in ATL and it was awesome. I love the atmosphere in sports events.

Everyone becomes your friend. I actually think we can pull it off. If we can take game 5 on wednesday.

one of the broadcasters was saying the Mavs PPG actually went down since the kidd acquisition, and maybe now teams will stop viewing shaq as the "missing piece" to a puzzle for a championship run

I dont think that is true at all. I think a lot of people thought Dallas had a very good chance to beat the Hornets, I think a lot of people thought the Suns would beat the Spurs this year as well. And the whole agrument about the west has been that it is the more balanced conference. The East is full of close series between good hard nose teams that are playing eachother hard.

I dont know what the Suns PPG and Jason Kidd have to do with eachother, I think you meant the Mavericks PPG.

But I think we all knew that the Jason Kidd trade and the Shaq trade were terrible deals, I dont think many people were happy with either deal.

I mean ill say it again, I would have rather had Devin Harris than Jason Kidd. I atleast think Harris would have been able to defense Paul better and be more effective at scoring as well.

Oh well, I must say New Orleans has a brillant head coach. Byron Scott has been phoenomial. He is my Coach of the Year. He completely out coached Avery Johnson who should be fired by the end of May.

My bad dog, suns are rivals and took us out of the playoffs couple times, shit was heartbreaking. They tried, it was a good series. Dantoni/avery johnson are done.

I really hope Cleveland closes out Washington tonight in Cleveland. It would give them an advantage to get a couple days rest while Detriot and Boston continue to play games. Plus I dont see how anyone likes Washington, they are a team full of trash talking thugs in my opinion

The cavs all the way baby! It's rediculous how much hype there is about lebron around here. I'm from around cleveland, and all i see is cavs signs and billboards, there's even this one building in cleveland that has a huge moral of lebrons face. I don't think the team would be shit without him, he gets too much hype. Anways, it would be nice to see em go all teh way this year instead of flopping out 4 games in a row like last year, that was pitiful

Yup lates to AJ. Dantoni might gone too. Nice to see US get Pau and other teams get not so good players. Lakers tearing shit up. I still remember the game where we beat the suns and Dantoni said "wait till the playoffs" haha

I said it earlier in this thread. the lakers and utah have been successful in their trades because they got young budding talented players not washed up all stars with massive contracts.

It was sickening watching the suns give away Shawn Marion and others for Shaq and equally painful seeing Devin Harris shipped out for Jason Kidd, who is extremely overrated IMO.

The Kidd trade was horrible, but I can't blame the Suns for making a move with Marion. He'd made it blatantly obvious that he intended to leave at the end of the year, so they were simply trying to get some value for him.

Devin Harris is FAR better than Jason Kidd at this stage, and Mark Cuban should have admitted that he made a mistake by making that trade rather than blaming the team's shortcomings on Avery Johnson.
