wow.. people are still arguing about mvp candidates... it's clear who will win and before anyone starts saying who should win i would strongly suggest reading this article http://www.nba.com/features/player_rankings.html. very good on going analysis on all the mvp contenders...
after the suns vs spurs game.. duncan said papa drew it up as such and duncan was set as the backup shot taker.. WTF?!?!.. first 3pter of the year. i agree with the suns coach in that if he's the one taking a 3 and made it .. they can live with it.. you just don't expect it. i picked dallas over hornets in 6.. and paul really did his best to disprove me ![]() |

This game is why Kobe aint the MVP. He aint doin shit, sittin on the bench, and the Lakers are beatin the fuck out of Denver. Gasol is gonna finish with 40 + points. Kobe is great, but the Lakers can maintain without him.

ondrugz said it best...lakers have gasol, if not l.a. would be a 5 - 7 seed...im just curious as to why when gasol came to l.a. than people gave kobe credit...kobes been the same player, he hasnt done shit for the lakers past or present...hes scored with a not so great field goal percentage, people are funny when l.a. gets there shit together than they award kobe for the teams efforts...?

The Pistons gave away game 1, they really need to be careful with a streaky team like the 76ers, they are scrappy and play great at both ends of the court. sometimes. I think the 76ers atleast splitting the series in Detriot is a success for them. It brings the series back home atleast tied up. I wouldnt say the chips are in their favor but they definitely took a big step in the right direction.
This Cleveland game is looking good early ![]() |

Welcome to the wonderful world of being a Detroit Piston fan.
You'd think 5 straight ECF trips and only 1 ring to show for it would have these guys playing with the same mindset Boston is....to dominate. Instead we have the same old Pistons laughin it up on the sidelines and playing jokes while Philly is fighting them every step of the way. Even in the final seconds of game 1, being down by 2 points and needing a bucket to stay alive, Rasheed Wallace is joking around with the Philly players out on the floor. Im not so much worried about the fact that they lost....every team will lose a couple post season games this year. Im more worried about the careless attitude they had the entire time. Everyone knows Detroit is one of the best teams out there and they are right there with Boston, the problem is that Detroit knows it as well. They have to lose the mindset that they can fuck around for 47 minutes and win it in the final minute. Either way Detroit is going to win the series (sorry Philly fans), even if they half ass it for the next 4 or 5 games. The problem will come down the road when they have to face Boston in the ECF...unless cleveland spoils the party. Either way Detroit will be back in the ECF because the only teams standing in their way is Orlando, Toronto, and Philly. I would love to see Boston and Detroit in the ECF...imagine what kind of series that would be.

the suns/san antonio game was by far the best game this weekend, IMHO. I'm a pistons hater why because I choose to. so seeing detroit lose felt so good, thats what they get for not taken sixers seriously. lakers are my team course they won. a great weekend of playoff games.
