Fuck, I've been waiting so damn long for this game to come out. It was supposed to come out on October 13th, but they bumped it back to February 1st. When that day came, the sons of bitches at EB Games said they bumped it back again. I was starting to wonder whether they'd ever release it at all.

All that's left now is Saint's Row 2, and my video game collection will be complete (until they release SR 3, that is).

I have my copy pre-ordered , it should be here by may 1st . I didn't read the article yet (i will though ) , so I'm not sure if any of you have heard about this new feature on gta4 . The new feature is that when you get into bad car accidents , people (including yourself) will actually be flying out windshields .

It looks cool but whats the difference between this and life? You can't get in trouble for killing people and it is not possible to really die but games like this are wrecking society.

It's all in the hands of the beholder...I wouldn't say these types of games are "wrecking society" but moreso the dumbasses who play them and decide to wreck society themselves are the culprits. Some people can separate fiction from reality, and some can't.

Wrecking society , that's pretty funny . It's a video game , if it influences you in any way in the real world that means that you have mental issues . A game cannot make someone do something crazy , unless that someone is crazy in the first place . I would say that our military training people to be killers is probably worse for society than a game . Or maybe the hateful messages that religion teaches , that's what gets to the masses .

I meant it in the way of making people lazy when they could be experiencing the outside world but not everyone has the money to afford to do so. Technology and population play a big role in it as well. People don't have to hunt or gather food because other people do it for them. Thus all the free time to play pointless video games. Don't get me wrong I blame myself but I would much rather volunteer or try to make the world better then waste my time on gta single player.

yeah that's why I probably won't buy it right away, but if it's fun enough then why not? At least i'm not playing WoW lol.

Or it can be a stress reliever....Making me more productive the next day with less stress..

Theres nothing better than going home at night, turning on your xbox and having vicious unprotected sex with a hooker, beating her in the head with her own heels, and then stealing the money back from that you just paid her for sex.

i agree people should go out and do things in the real world but im still gonna be playing the fuck out of this game. i play videogames but i also get out and do stuff, not like volunteer work or anything lol but i have a social life and a life outside of the virtual realm. honestly i dont even play videogames that much, but i know when this shit comes out i will be.
