Kansas- NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPS!

That was definately one of the better college basketball games i have witnessed.

down by 9 with 2 minutes to go, followed by the incredible 3 pointer by Mario Chalmers to send it to overtime... Kansas took it over from there and won.

by the way, i picked this in my bracket

WHAT A GAME!

anybody else see it?

what a great game, i cant believe memphis blew it...chris douglas roberts is a fuckin choke artist...he had many oppurtunities to end the game, lost me a ton of cash cause dude cant even make a free throw. sad.
gotta give it to the jayhawks though they played a hell of a game and chalmers delivered with a huge trey.
too bad march madness is over, another great tourney in the books.

I dont want to rain on your parade but Kansas didnt win. Memphis lost. They choked at the foul line, had their interior player foul out. It was a hard fought game, but I didnt leave the game saying "what a proformance by Kansas", I turned it saying "I cant believe Memphis choked like that"

Um, ok. Kansas is still holding the trophy. They battled back and yes, while Memphis had the championship in their hands, they gave it away with poor play. I hate this notion that "a team can't win but someone can lose." Both happened, easy enough. KU is a very worthy champion. No team had the balance they had 1-10.

Both teams played well enough to win. I did leave the game thinking to myself, "Wow. Kansas did a better job defensively on Memphis than any other team they've played." You've got to admit: It's damn impressive that they were able to Memphis's guards for the majority of the game, Rose in particular.

Kansas deserved to win, and they did. End of story.

Kansas DID win the game. Memphis is a shitty free throw team and when the pressure was on, they couldnt come through in the clutch. Kansas on the other hand dealt with the pressure and WON the game. Memphis didnt just magically start losing points, Kansas was the better team and proved that by winning the game.

I agree and disagree. Memphis was up 9 with 2:20 left, that is usually when you say you have it in the bag. Yes Kansas continued to play hard and make shots which I will give them credit for. But it is inexcusable to blow a 9 point lead with that much time left. Even if Memphis shot 40% from the FT which is still awful, they would have won. So yes, I error on the side of Memphis giving it away. But no doubt Kansas did play their tails off and managed to win.

I still think Memphis is the better team.
