And for the record.....Barry Bonds did everything to himself. The Giants didn't do anything wrong. All they did was deal with a bad situation the best they could. When his contract was up, they let him go.

Haven't you heard??? The guy who claims to run the Yankees coined it a Yankees Universe. I'm as die hard as they come.....but I can't stand Hank Steinbrenner. He talks sooo much shit, yet Joba Chamberlain states he has never even met him. What kind of president doesn't even take the time out to meet his teams future?? He is making money solely because of Joba in some cases. There certainly are fans who go just to see him strike out 3 guys in the 8th.


I'm always up for a good Yanks-Sox debate....... but I have to give credit where it is due..... to Bill James. As soon as the Sox started working with that guy, they won 2 championships. Obviously something is correct within sabermetrics if the Sox can win 2 in 5 years with James......and zero in 100 without. The whole concept and scenario is quite interesting. If you've never heard of it (which should be hard if you are a true Sox fan) I would check it out, for sure. Bill James and sabermetrics (Society of American Baseball E-coli Refridgerators.....or something similar)
