thinking about getting into halo 3 XBL..

lately i've seriously been considering buying an xbox 360 and getting into halo 3. i played halo pc for 4 years and played for sponsorship and for money, then i converted to halo 2 xbl for about 2 years up until just under a year ago.

i quit halo 2 to focus on school and a job, and lately i've been noticing i have some extra time in which i just smoke and watch tv, but if i have so much extra time nowdays, why should i just watch tv when i can play halo 3 hah. but i'd really like to get into halo 3 xbl just like the good ol' times of gettin stoned n playing halo 2

guess what im tryin to sum up, how much are xbox 360s nowdays, is it even worth gettin a 360 now. (i know there was some huge recall on them a while back ago so should i buy one?) is halo 3 worth buyin and playing, i'm the kinda person where i perfect any game i play and i try my best.

note: i don't want halo 3 to be all out for me like halo pc and halo 2 was for me, playing 5-6 hours a day for money and everything, i just wanna play for fun..

You can pick up Xbox 360's with controllers and Halo 3 for $350.00 brand new these days. There was a recall on the November 15-summer 06 white xbox 360's. The Halo editions are clean, and hell, I like em better. The xbox 360 elites are clean as well (the black case ones), but they are like $100 more. It's definitely worth getting the game, it's fucking awesome.

thx for the feedback. my stepdad had a 360 and it got recalled a while back ago so i didnt know if it'd be worth gettin one ever since that. i've been watchin some halo 3 montages the past half hour and thats makin me wanna play it even more.

i think i may go get myself a 360 and a copy of halo 3 tomorrow.. i'll just have to not smoke so much bud the next few weeks so i can catch back up on my cash situation hah.. at least havin a 360 and h3 will gimmie something extra to do though

i'm a big halo series fan but i'll give an unbiased opinion here. halo 3 is nothing more spectacular than halo 2 was. graphics aside, the gameplay is to identical. i found myself bored with halo 3 a lot quicker than halo 2. the thing i didn't like the most were the controls. seeing how fps games have advanced on consoles vs pc, halo 3 is somewhat lacking in terms of how it handles movement in its game engine. cod4 or gow have much better engines running the games which really makes it more robust for the player.

other than that.. halo was definitely fun. i just stopped playing it the beginning of this year so i can't say i didn't get hooked

i'm gunna buy myself a 360 and a copy of halo 3 at best buy after class today. got a copy of halo 2 that ive always had at my house, so i'll play that aswell. gunna get setup on XBL as well

no work for the next 3 days, classes end tomorrow, got just under an O of some bombass mids. gunna be nice..

i've been thinkin of an XBL name, my old one was "x T c q i L L" i'm think my new one will be "doJa" or something along those lines..

damn. XBL signup is down at the moment, i can't make an account until its back up.. i smoked a few bowls and played campaign, that shit was INTENSE

I play halo3 i just got an account but use my brothers xbox. Its something to play for fun and not get hardcore about and its fun to play stoned
