I have the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT in my Mac Pro. I wouldn't have it any other way. Connected to my 30" Cinema Display, doesn't get any better.

I also like to mess around on Linux. The Nvidia drivers on linux are WAY more stable then the shit ATI drivers so thats another thing to consider.

Edit: The only reason that Intel is making their boards slightly better than before is because of Vista Aero's requirements - thats the only reason.
