People never took utah seriously when they almost knocked down jordan and the bulls...

And plus who's better at home than utah ...not boston not l.a. not nobody...homecourt advantage will be sweet for utah

but overall i expect lebron to come out like a monster with tripple doubles each game...watch out media crazed laker fans...espn built you up and the west will take you down.......and there will be more excuses next year for why kobe hasnt won a chip without big brother shaq

It has nothing to do with what ESPN has "built up". The Lakers are the #1 seed in the West and are playing the best basketball going into the post season.

Kobe is on a mission and he has the talent around him to get him back to the promise land...whether or not he can get a ring once he gets there is another story. Detroit and Boston are hungry, and dont forget they both play very well against the best of the west.

Utah has about as much of a shot in coming out of the west as the sixers have of coming out of the east....it just isnt going to happen.

Not sure what media hype there is. The Lakers have blown the last several years and ESPN hasn't touched them. Kobe hasn't even gotten MVP consideration. What hype is there? Explain?

lol seeing how utah went further than any other western team besides san antonio...and comparing utah to philly is a joke...the 76ers(who) lol utah is 2 games from l.a. and/or n.o. ...so how does utah not have a chance...best home record in the NBA...



and what hype lol have you ever wondered how an espn "ANALYST" can speek his own opinion and/or coppy his fellow media co worker...and saying this on espn with a million plus people watching at home....it affects people and who they think is the best...DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hey, thanks for the great info. I have my own opinion, thanks again. And my opinion is that Utah is quite the darkhorse to win the West. To bring up what they did last year has NO bearing on this year. Maybe experience, that's it, but in my mind, that is still overrated. You keep bringing up the home record, is there anything else you like about them? If not, then you're support for Utah is quite weak. Nice try.

Your comprehension is clearly lacking. I said your argument for Utah is weak. I didn't necessarily say I think Utah is weak. That said, all you have pointed in favor of them is their home schedule. What else is clearly in their favor compared to the other Western Conference contenders? You still haven't said that.
