My list of Zelda games in order of greatness:
Ocarina of Time (N64) A Link to the Past (SNES/GBA) Link's Awakening (GBC) Phantom Hourglass (DS) The Legend of Zelda (NES) The Minish Cap (GBA) The Wind Waker (GC) Oracle of Ages/Seasons (GBC) Majora's Mask (N64) The Adventure of Link (NES) I've never played Twilight Princess, but I'm pretty sure it would be close to the top of that list. |

Switch you need to give windwaker a chance, it is definatly worth it, even if your not into it being cel-shaded. Alot of people didnt like the idea, but once they played it, their minds changed completly. And as for twilight princess, you don't have to have a wii, just buy the gamecube version, assuming that you have a gamecube i mean.

i agree, windwaker is a pretty damn good game. and yes CosmicSerpent, twilight princess would indeed be close to if not at the top of that list

Definitely not better than Ocarina... I guess I can understand why some people liked it, but it for sure wasn't your typical Zelda game. I thought the dependence on getting literally everything done in a fixed amount of time got really annoying after a while.... I guess it was okay for a sequel, but would have been nothing without Ocarina.

I always felt that Majora's Mask trumped Ocarina of Time.
Purely on the note of side quests. It felt more like an adventure game to me and that is why I loved it. And Twilight Princess completely abandoned that crucial aspect of the Zelda games. Which pissed me off. Wind Waker had its moments but it couldn't live up to its two older brothers. Nothing could.

Am I the only one who didn't pay much attention to the three-day-limit in Majora's Mask?
The timer stopped in all dungeons and temples.. And it was ridiculously easy to avoid the armageddon scenario. In fact the only time I ever saw the cut scene of the town being destroyed is when I sat still on day three, idly, waiting for the timer to run out.
