how did bush get elected? i thought the whole vote or die campaign was aimed towards getting people to vote for kerry.

seems kinda strange how bush won with so many people that hate him.

any campaign run by p diddy and the bad boy family to try to pick the leader of my country, well lets say i wont be very interested. the vote or die was stupid anyways, there just trying to get people out there and vote... and it worked. people went to the polls without knowing anything about the candidates and voted for who their parents or priest or whoever also was supporting.



and no matter who won, there will always be people that hate the president.

think of it like this...we are in wartime...weather its neccesary or not...bush has made people living in fear of terrorism. Theres no reasoning behind it, just fear thats it. He has no factual evidence to base any of his decisions on, all he does is pound those words in our ears...sadaam, WMD's, terrorism, war on terror, terror, TERROR, TERROR. I mean keep sayin this shit and people will have nobody to turn to but you. Now the reason he won is because he was promising us protection in a time of war, war he started under false pretences, and for no 'real' reason. Now put that next to an aging liberal...kerry openly spoke about how he was all for abortion, well thats not exactly a very "tactical" move to use considering we have been under rule of a conservative president for the past 4 years, while in a time a war, where everyone is scared shitless. So we have one person garenteeing protection, and the other saying i want you to be able to kill your babies if you feel like it (at least thats how it sounds to conservative america) and not only that but that same guy just cant keep his mind set on one thing. He tries to please everyone, and in the process comes off as an idiot, drrr i support the war, drrrr war is bad i hate war...i mean is that who you want represeenting you, do you wanna entrust your freedom to this man? i wouldnt...now while kerry is being an idiot, america is forming an opinion. They see these 2 candidates as follows. They look at bush and think, well at least hes always on the offensive, regardless of doing it for wrong reasons or not, hes always on the offensive and this most definitly will prevent any other "terror" from affecting me and my loved ones. Then they look at kerry and think, this guy is a total moron, he cant make up his mind and hes always trying to make everyone happy, eventually someone could easily attack the states and i would be subjected to that 'terror' because he doest know how to take charge. So they say, ok fine i guess im voting for Bush. Now to understand this decision you gotta see what bush did. He started a war that wasnt neccesary, he did it so he could have something to protect people from. So he basically created a huge ass war so that he could then turn around and protect us from it. Make sense? well yes and no. He didnt need to go to iraq, and certainly fucked up by giving Osama a 2 month head start to the caves. And the fact that hes got war-time experience by already being president for 4 years, most definitly helped him out, seeingf as tho we having been attacked since 9/11...so there you go, 2 candidates, both complete morons, but 1 knows how to play the card of deception better than the other. Just so you know i didnt vote for either, i didnt vote at all. I dont want to give in to lunacy..just because its a poll doesnt mean ytou have to vote, dont settle for the lesser of 2 evils, thats what they want.
