Interesting feeling

I took a few big bong tokes and I disidentified with myself but soon after I did this I got a peculiar feeling. It felt like my mind was going break out of my head... It was itchy and sort of pressurized. I also felt nauseous. When I put myself back in my head so to speak, the feeling went away. Have you ever experienced anything like this?

hmm weird, i also had an interesting feeling after smoking last night, i was smoking alone outside outa my double perc mini bong and continued to load my 4th fatty bowl of some afghan kush. now this last bowl was sure something different. the hits just kept on coming i must have took atleast 10 FATTY rips.

i then make my way inside and spot my 30 pound fat ass cat sleeping on the couch, and trust me after smoking four fatty bowls there no way you can ignore that fat ass! i lay down with him and he starts purring and i realize how keyed i am. i reach my hand out to pet him and i loose all feeling in my arm, then my chest and soon my whole body feels stuck,frozen,numb. i somehow manage to get up and start leaning on the wall and sink into it, i felt as if i was the wall looking at out into room (its some trippy shit). i move again to a table and put both hands on the edge so i can lift my self up, i can truthfully say that is the closest feeling iv ever had to flying.

yep, though not always with weed. i think it's related to the "energetic meditation" i've been doing for the past while. i do notice that when i'm high, it feels much more amped up but the next few days after it's almost like i've been "drained" or ran out. happens a lot on my forehead for me (and sometimes my chest) there was this one time that i was doing a lot of meditation and i blazed that night afterwards and it almost felt like my head was going to burst with pressure... and the odd thing was, when i closed my eyes, i actually saw a glowing pentacle... tiny and really far off in the distance, but it was clearly a pentacle.

though, where was this pressure feeling?

That's kind of strange, because I too sometimes see a glowing pentacle when I meditate high.

OP, I'm not quite sure what you mean, so I can't really tell you if I've experienced anything like it. I've felt like my mind was bigger than my head if that's what you mean. sort of like normally you have an idea of the perimeter of your skull, but when I close my eyes high, the inside of my mind feels twice as big as my head actually is.

The feeling of pressure was in my head. It felt like my brain expanded. It was uncomfortable but not quite painful.

Perhaps you were on the verge of leaving yourself in the spiritual sense.

When I first took shrooms, I experienced the proverbial nausea that everybody had told me about but that I didn't think would actually happen. As the come up was happening, I told myself to completely let go and to embrace the nausea and not to fight it, and then that nausea was transformed into the best euphoria of my life.

So perhaps it was something related? You mentioned going out of your head so the thought popped into my mind. Who knows. Or you just could have been hungry and a little dehydrated after those monster bong rips and oxygen deprivation. Who knows

Happened to me once, and I think I know why. Keep in mind this is something that happens with weed and i'm not reasoning this with regard to any other substance. My thought was simply that after smoking so much herb your mind simply wants to shut down (i.e. sleep). So when you get that feeling in your head that you are sort of disassociating with yourself what is really happening is that you are entering the first stages of sleep. Simply in a sort of limbo state between conciousness and dreaming, something very natural but a bit odd when its being forced on you when your high and very much conscious. And add to that everything else that comes with being high at the same time.
