i hope this is true. i love life, it's full of so many beautiful and wonderful things. even in my worst times, i try to find something outside my own grief that makes me appreciate the gift of life. although i haven't always felt this way. i just remember one day looking out my bedroom window as it poured down rain on a late afternoon during the spring and thinking, god i'm gonna miss this place. my biggest fear of dying would be leaving my son at a young age and not being there for him. it makes me feel as if i have failed him.

Maybe when we die, our spirits go to an animal being born. Hence the reason they can't communicate with us, so they can't tell us that death only means your spirit moves on to be reincarnated into an animal which can't communicate with humans. After death, all conscious thoughts and memories are deleted so that you start fresh in the next life. Im sure that just like humans, animals can probably think of the life after death concept, we just don't have a positive confirmation due to the fact we can't hold a conversation with an animal before we start looking stupid. =] (so baked right now and I had a cup of coffee)

yeah, scarily enough i do have a memory of something like that... it was eerie as hell in a sense but i saw the earth from waay above, it looked about the size of a penny but was all blue and green and glowed a bit and i remember me choosing to be here (in a more feminine voice, oddly enough...) i know i was talking with another being but i couldn't see them but i knew that he (it?) was there.

what that means i don't really want to analyze. it could be just a dream, it could be a past life memory, it could be me hallucinating or using my imagination... but whatever it is, it's still a rather pleasant memory (i think i'll let it keep it's beauty and not try to disect it.)

some people can communicate with animals. dogs cats bears panthers all types. i dont think they wonder about life after death as they seem to just let themselves move on when its time. they just lie there and let it come. theyre very peaceful. unlike us rowdy humans lol. what if the dogs were once humans that hated dogs and was real mean to them. i think of incarnating kinda going to jail lol the people that like dogs could become a cat or something but it would be the opposite.. makes sense since satan runs the "virtual" world he would probably do that. animals could also just be long lost friends that passed on(you wouldnt know as theyre long lost) reincarnated into your companion. who knows til you pass on

yeah, it's kinda scary since every animal i've had in my life from dogs to cats and even birds have somehow instinctively seemed to know when it was their time to go... are we the only species that doesn't?

p.s. i'm going to check out implanted memories, but i think i'm gonna stick with not applying that curiosity to that memory... if it is a delusional memory, it's a beautiful one and i think i'd like to keep it that way.

true, if it ever was to be revealed, well, that wouldn't answer who did it, why and when.

besides, it's not like i'm using this memory as a means to prop up my ego or boost my spiritual "street-cred." it's just something that is floating about in my mind.

I imagine death as being asleep. Eternity passing in an instant, not knowing of your own existence. But I have a theory, it's stupid and is highly improbable. But, when you die, your brain releases DMT(look it up, you wont regret it). Anyway, what if the combination of DMT + being on the brink of death created a massive amount of thoughts that launched you into an eternal dream. As in, while your physical body is stuck in the real world dying in that last instant, your consciecness is experiencing so many thoughts that basically you're launched into a perpetual dream.

The reason I thought of this is because DMT is what causes dreams. It's something to think about fo sho

yea that could be what we can percieve it as. DMT is also released at birth so what if when we die its released and causes us to start over again as whatever body. again with no recolection of the past life and starting a new one...

The bolded part makes sense to me because I had a near death experience and it was kinda like that. I was stabbed 4 times in the chest and I remember throwing up and then passing out because when I seen all the blood, I went into shock. While I was laying there, it was like I was watching a movie of my entire life...but it was more like a slide show...flipping through scenes...really fast, but at the same time in slow motion...it was really weird. And then, I heard gunshots that woke me up and I was being dragged down the stairs by a cop and he kept telling me 'stay awake, don't go to sleep'...next thing ya know, I woke up 3 days later in ICU...I'll never forget that
