Right, before i start, may i just say. Long time reader. Love everything you guys do. Keep doing it.
I was totaly chillaxed when i just had this brainwave and this is what came out of it. As written as it came into my head, at the spead in which my head measures time :P.
"Different Brain Time"
A Theory By Niqs
16th July 2009 It is a well known fact that time is only an invention of the modern day human. But what if time isnt the same for everyone because of thier brains working at a faster level than someone elses'. Would this dertermine the speed in which a person ages.
For example;
( - represents how a person "lives" a second.)
While a fast persons brain would work at this speed, - - - - - - -
perhaps a slow persons brain might work like thus - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . -
When compared respectively to the speed of the first it could be determined that the slow person might experiance a longer "time frame" for things such as football matches.
In the example of the football match (which typicaly lasts 90 minutes.) If comparing the two it could be said that in relative terms the each would experiance a slower or faster game in comparison to each others brain patterns.
This can be noted to be called Different Brain Time (DBT).
DBT can theoreticaly be measured by measuring brain signals and comparing data, with the signals being interpreted as thus;
Faster brain signals = Faster determation of time
Slower brain signals = Slower determation of time
This would give an average brain speed which could in tern be a standard measurement for determing the speed in which someone comprehends and "lives" seconds or time as we know it.
Apon this average being measured and studied with "life spans" taken into account it could also theoreticaly be possible to determine an estimated life cycle of a human from the age of aproximately 20.
In conclusion i would like to say that i fully believe that DBT could in fact be possible. With one person infact not "living" at the same speed as someone else.

Right, tell me what you guys think.
Im sure thats probably a pretty good first post
