it's funny. in the bible, god kills so many people, while the devil doesn't even do so much as scratch someone. think about it . . .

Satan is a metaphor for evil, but in a priests eyes the worst form of evil is the snake (Satan).

Who is the snake? In Moses time, till the Israeli captivity in Babylon the Snake was the Consort of Mother earth that accused people (their subconcious); the followers of the snake used cannabis.

Cannabis has been hated by the followers of the Sun church ever since the priests of Sun worship managed to kill Earth worship.

Oh and worship never used to meant doing things that you don't want to do. Worship used to mean doing things that made you happy.

Doing things that you don't want to do is called Sun 'worship'. It's a nasty thing, but it gives some people a lot of money, and takes away the lions share from the people who don't do it the most.

Fun fact about Satan, again assuming the Bible got anything to do with reality...

He never, not once, killed or hurt anyone unless directly challenged by Jehova/Jahve/God (dear child, ummm, father, many names...). And even accounting for that, it totals up to less than a dozen.

Jehova/Jahve/God on the other hand? I mean, even some old germans would go "Dat vas a bitt excessive, nein!?"

Well, I guess I'll play... God's advocate on this one.

When God kills someone, they are instantly brought up to heaven to be with him, so murder is not such a bad thing... he's simply doing a little cleaning up here on Earth. He gave us free will but as he is infinitely smarter than us, he realizes it is better to purge evil from the Earth rather than to let it remain and influence others. All of us minus anarchists agree that a little justice is necessary from time to time.

The mark of the beast is man's number. When Satan or that ancient serpent the Devil took Jesus up to the mountain top, he tempted Jesus with power... authority over all nations. Who gave Satan this authority? God... just as he gave man authority to be the master of his own destiny. Jesus told Satan and the desire to rule, manipulate, and control to stay away from him. Only once this is gone can man/God know true liberty.

We are the judiciary of good and evil through our experiences. The goodness and love we experience will make it into heaven while the evil we do will be purged and destroyed in a lake of fire. It's not the individual sould being judged, but rather the collective consciousness of God. This is the weigh station of God's morality. He divides himself to experience his will from different perspectives so he can know what is truely good and what is bad.

Yours Truly,
Metatron

Very good gods advocate there Perpetual

Is it just me that notice the good side of this? We don't need a devils advocate no more, god on the other hand is in serious need of good competent representation

edit: And may I say, thank you all who repped me for my original post in this thread. It is much appreciated. Infact, I cannot remember last I got so much goodwill for one post, so it must have hit some (pleasurable) nerve or other. And across the board, believers as non-believers.

I never expected it, as I thought myself it was a bit too straight forward and obvious really. But I have been known to be wrong, and I can guarantee I will be wrong again
