As MrBlonde illustrated, it is kind of silly to not read the Bible as if it is literally telling you something. All that you end up doing is saying "This part is literal, that part is not, but this part is, oh wait no, it is not. This other part is literal, that one is not and obviously means the opposite of what it says."

Cut and paste the Bible into the message you want, with no justifiable reason other than the misuse of logic. It is obvious when a story is simply a story. The whole thing is simply a story. The Lord of the Rings trying to explain the world is what it boils down to.

If one was to accurately describe the bible, they would be forced into admitting that it was only one of 12-20 books during that time that were in circulation. It can actually be used as a flashpoint into people's beliefs during that time period. Does that mean it's 100% accurate? Of course not, look at a textbook from the 50's and a textbook from today. Completely different, correct?

That being said, I personally do believe in chunks of the bible, but not the entire book. I've hallucinated enough in my life to actually see the different angles that most people would completely neglect to investigate. Let me break it down like this, there is another force at work on this microcosm(Earth) that is affected by another Macrocosm(The Universe).

Illusions tend to dissolve after you have enough experience in life. I've met people from all walks of life and religions, so I cannot generalize a satanist and say they're all ritual killers. More people have died in the name of Christianity and Islam than all other DOCUMENTED wars combined. Those are the two religions that fear Satan more than any other. I do use the word fear, because there is never a true discussion upon the nature of this supposed Satan. He is to be feared and avoided at all costs, follow only ten rules and you're good to go, and don't chew with your mouth open.

No, I'm sorry we don't play in the kiddie pool anymore. Real life is much more complex once we delve deep into it. Eat enough el es dee and you'll either see god or satan, maybe both in the same night!
