they dont, just tell them you dont want to talk about it. if they dont leave after that, then yes they are shoving it down your throat. but if right when somebody opens the door and sees that theyre a jehovah's witness they flip them off and slam the door in their faces, do you think it strengthen or weakens their belief that theyre right?

and maybe they have something to say that youve never heard before, maybe it will change your mind about something, if it does, didn't you get something out of it?

Hello everyone, my family are Jahova Wits, so I know what they believe and why they do what they do. For the record I am not a witness, first of all you asked what gives them the right to knock on your door shoving thier dogma on you, If you dont even talk to them how do you know what thier doing there. The reason why Witnesses go from door to door is because thats what jesus did and said for all christians to do, to preach the word of Jahova (God). They are christians, they have the same King James bibles as all other christian. All witnesses do is sit around and read the bible, and they dont just do it on sunday like other christians they read it everyday, like your supposed to do when you dedicate your life to something. In order for them to beable to go door to door they have to go through alot of stuff, they must know thier bible backward and foward in order to beable to properly talk to someone about it. Thats the one thing I do give them props for is that I dont know anyone who knows the bible better than witnesses. The reason why they dont celebrate Christmas and birthdays and other holidays is because it never says to do these things in the bible, nobody knows when jesus was born in the first place so why celebrate someones birthday on the wrong day. Also if you google the history of christmas you will see that it started out as a pegan holiday, it wasnt till the churches stared loosing people that they adopted it as a christian holiday. Alot of people also say they only think that 144,000 people go to heaven andare saved but this is also untrue, in the bible it says that 144,000 people will be chosen to for leading and watching, the rest of us are to live in our kingdom that god made for us AKA the earth AKA the garden of eden, Gods origional plan was for us to live on this earth in perfect harmony and once armageddon comes thats what will happen. There is no heaven in the sky, this earth is supposed to be our heaven. Thats one of the biggest misconseptions from people who dont want to ask questions but just judge people. But for this persons origional question, like the other people said everyone has there own agenda, you never can tell if people are ginuine or pranksters. I would say more than none are out there because they really do care, like I said before you have no idea how much they have to go through in order to go door to door, they take time out of there day to talk to strangers about what they care about most. Hopefully people will stop judgeing people because of a title instead of judging them for the things they do.

I always wondered about the Jehova's Witness but the ones that stopped by my door somehow couldn't get basic facts like that out to me.

And he looks out the window and see's two jews coming up his driveway.
He says "Dude, i think the FBI is here."
He answered the door, we was nervous as hell, and there like "Were jehova's witness" and all that.
