Everyone has wished something like that at one point or another. If I was the person, and thus dead I guess, it would seem like nothing at all to me... 'Cause I'd be dead.

Well, if someone could think me dead I do not know if I would be aware of it at all. If I was aware of it, I would most certainly not be happy about it. Though, since I would not know why they were doing it (unless I do?) I do not know how deep my contemplations would go.

I would not be aware of why they were doing it, however. If I was aware they were killing me, I would certainly know it.

Well it varies on the context of the situation, anywhere between a minor spat, and a horrible deed you have done that someone swears a vendetta for.
If anything, the one emotion you would have at that moment is confusion.

Well confusion is generally a losing of awarness, an inability to "make sense of things"
Which is most likely what one needs to have a truly infinite realization, considering the paltry strength of human logic and conscious intelligence.

What do you measure it against that leads you to call it "paltry"?

I honestly think I'm the only person I know who would agree that killing someone would clear my conscience, instead of weighing on it. Seriously, if I were to make the decision to end someone's life, I wouldn't second-guess that shit. Squashing everything a human being is now, and could have been in the future doesn't really seem like something you could be on the fence about. You kill 'em, and you've decided and acted on your decision. Death is the epitome of conceptuality.
