1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:20 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

So according to some saying in some book, a book who's passages were voted upon for entry, says that there is everlasting life.

Primary source and a half.

It MUST be.

Just because I couldn't help myself...

1 CosmicSerpent 3:22 There is no such thing as God.

Now tell me, what makes you believe that your book is true and mine is not?

It's your choice to reject the book. To do so is to deny absolute truth.

The Creator authored the Bible. You and I are His creation. I trust the One who has the power to make the universe (as well as dna, humans, planets, galaxies) from nothing; but simply spoke them into existence. For a God who can do all that? Providing us with His book is a snap.

All I want to know is this, how do your know that Christianity is right, and Scientology is not?

If you can explain that to me then I will be a believer.

Because Ron L. Hubbard authored Scientology, and "The Creator" authored the Bible. IT'S SO OBVOIUS!1!1

My question is simple: how do you know that the Creator truly authored the Bible? Simply because it says so? The Webster's dictionary also claims that it is true, but you said that the definition it provides of religion is not accurate. You also said that Christians base their knowledge of God entirely on the what is written in the Bible, but doesn't this create a paradox?

Please entertain the following hypothetical situation:
If you had never been exposed to the Bible or any Christian beliefs before, and I presented you with a copy of the Bible, the Koran, the Book of Mormon, and several other religious texts that all claim to be the word of the Creator, how would you determine that the Christian Bible is the only correct one? They each describe God in several completely different ways and make a variety of claims about Him, and they each claim to be the absolute truth. Why do you give the Bible more credit than these other books?

Because it says so?

Besides, obviously 67% of the world has no idea what they are talking about:

Also, take careful note of how Christianity is called a religion.

I'm waiting, teamochi. You wanted me to respond to thrice's crtique, now I've done that, P. 14, #203. In the process I put a couple of questions to you:

1) DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?

2) Do you still believe "We've already refuted the article?"

We're patiently waiting, teamochi, for your answers. If you don't respond, I'll just conclude that it's because you're lost for a response and don't know what to respond and finally realized that you've been wrong all along!!! What's it going to be, teamochi?
