Indescribable connections with people...

Have you ever had a strangely close connection with someone you've previously never met? Just some kind of weird attraction, whether it's in a platonic or romantic way. Some aspect of your personalities that instantly clicked together or maybe something that your subconsciouses saw in each other.

It's kind of hard to put into words, but I've had a few instances like this throughout my life. Usually they're totally random and don't happen again for a while. Often it happens before you even speak... by simply being in the same vicinity, you can sense something about this person that makes them stand out, regardless of physical appearance. And I'm not talking about simply having common interests or being like-minded, I'm talking about something that goes a lot deeper.... just a feeling of connection or some unknown force that draws you together.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? And if so, what do you think causes it? Is it purely just a weird psychological effect or is there something spiritual behind it? I'm not trying to say I become obsessed with strangers and end up stalking them or anything like that.... it's just a small observation I've made that has occurred a handful of times in a variety of situations throughout my life.

My wife, certain friends and bandmates, even some total strangers have given me a feeling of 'knowing' before you actually meet them.

I think that the person you feel this way about is some type of catalyst in your own life, perhaps good, sometimes bad, but an awareness of this type means an intertwined energy field, human magnetics, if you will. Their polarity affects you in some unconcious way.

Ever see someone coming up the sidewalk, and feel like you've been standing there waiting for them, without knowing?
