Alright, so basically I just ran into a girl i knew from about 10 years ago when she used to babysit me or w/e, and she told me she basically re started her life and turned christian.
Well, i told her i wasnt and we talked about it and all that blah blah, and basically i didnt know what to say to her, i didnt want to unconvert her but i didnt want her to continue to mislead herself with some mistical fairy tale.
But on topic i was just wondering, when talking to a christian aobut religion and stuff what should i say? i alwasy chicken out and dont want to tell them that they really need to use their brains and things of that sort, so i was just wondering where i should draw the line in the conversations and where i should become more outgoing in them.

I think the best way to handle a conversation like that is to focus on the positives. Shes christian for a reason; so find out how it helps and try to stick a few criticisms in every now and then to keep her thinking. Save big doubts of validity for a quieter place with someone who you know won't be offended.

but i kinda was wondering what i say to maybe all christians, like anyone whos talking to me about the subject, i mean there are many times at church (i go because my GF) i just wanted to stand up and interrupt the speech and contradict alot of things, but i know that is too far.
i dont know i guess the question is a lil confusing but i was just wondering if any christians here would know the general limit of when to say things and what not to say. (offense is not a desired result when i converse with people)

I would just ask them who (as in what human) told them to believe that. If they say they came to it themselves, I would be happy for them and try to find out why.

Things to watch out for:
There are a lot of very open minded christians, so don't lump them all together. I have a mormon friend who feels that we all have to do what feels right. She doesn't care that I'm pagan, and we have no problems talking about it. I just say that I think an all loving god would want us to be happy, and would be mad at us if we threw away life's finest gifts.
