Good post... it's amazing how some people have no ability to think for themselves and just buy in to whatever they're told. Mormons like these guys who travel around trying to convert people need to realize something.... their religion, at least in my opinion, is one of the less believable ones in existence. So if they actually want to bring in more followers, they need to have a full understanding of their texts and be able to form solid arguments about it. The guys in this video obviously have no idea why they believe what they believe. Seems like they'd be willing to accept just about anything if someone pushed it on them long enough.

That was the equivalent of a Mack Truck running over a couple of unsuspecting bunnies...and yet so fun!

Being a Mormon myself I'd have to say those two got what they deserved.

The man they were tryng to "teach" is a true man of God. They should have been sitting at his feet learning instead of parroting rhetoric they didn't understand themselves.

That was an ambush, followed by a beat down, that ended with those two unsuspecting ditto headed chumps being urinated upon. Man, if those guys represent what typical Mormons are like then I know that old saying really is true, people will believe anything.

Those two Mormon guys should not ride up on people wearing bike helmets wanting to talk about Joesph Smith, errr... "Jesus". They got what was coming to them, what would have put the icing on the cake would be an atheist talking to them (all of them) right after.

Yes, people will. Funny how you would say that about their beliefs, while you defend other, equally out there, beliefs. Not an attack, just an observation.

Actually, a small part of me felt sorry for those 2 kids on the bikes.

I mean...here they are riding around all night trying to spread the word, and all of the sudden they stumble upon someone who doesnt just nod his head and politely take the booklet, only to toss it in the trash moments later. Instead they run into a man who is well educated on the subject, and you have to watch him completely dismember the core of their entire belief system.

Of course, I stopped feeling sorry once I realized they brought it on themselves.

I was inspired by this video, only because I have had people come to my door and try to "sell" me faith. I usually just say "no thanks", rather than saying what I really wish to say.

I think these people running around towns with booklets, pushing religion and faith, should be questioned at every opportunity...this video was a perfect example of why. If you're going to ride your bike around town selling faith, you better have a clear understanding of what exactly it is you're trying to sell. You should also be prepared for people to question you, as they should.

I'm not saying stand in the burger king parking lot and argue with the mormons, but I really think all of us who disagree should make them aware that we disagree, and why we disagree. If they choose to listen and conversate, thats up to them. Either way, voice your opinion....they certainly voice theirs.

Yeah I jibe them because of their beliefs, but I think most of us agree that they sorta had it coming. What other possible outcome could there have been when they choose to walk into a situation without the proper preparation or dedication to their own ideals. IMHO I think their problem is a little bit more profound than their beliefs systems--which I would defend. They have a right to believe as they wish, however they should duly consider the potential of meeting someone that strongly disagrees with them. It's a classic lesson and those two guys were a classic example.

But how many people are there in the world that go through the daily grind and lead hollow lives that are indefensible? Who practice routines and follow schedules that are lacking in passion and commitment. Those guys happen to be religious, however I'm afraid that the problem they're suffering from is all too human.

And the beliefs that I defend aren't "out there" simply because you disagree with them bro.

Stay green.

Damn, that guy knows like 100x more than they do on the subject. I guess if your gonna go around "teaching" people stuff you better know what your talking about.

OMFG... I'm still laughing about that... Them bitches got PWN3D! Fuckin hardcore! I love it when people try to "educate" people who know more about the subject than they do. 'Specially when it comes to religion... I've had similar encounters with Jehovah's Witnesses here (we don't really got any Mormons in my area).
