The Sphinx was said to be built by survivors of Atlantis, many many theories have it that the lost city of Atlantis lies beneath the Sphinx's paws at Giza. Patterns of wathering on the Sphinx suggest that many parts of it were erdoded by water, but the area has been desert since before 3,000 bc... -D.K K.I.S.S Unexplained Series.... I find this VERY INTERESTING .

Always makes me very interested when we get a new member who starts posting themed threads first and never mentions weed. There are not 'man, many theories' that Atlantis lies beneath its paws. Firstly, the ground beneath the pyramids and the Sphinx are bedrock, with no caves big enough to house a city. The ground there has been tested many times with geophysics in the search for new tombs, it's been excavated too many times - if there were a city there it would have been found.
