Now you take these same scientists, who all this time have been proving things that we know take for granted as common knowledge, and you let them ponder about how old the universe is - do you think their answer is going to be logical and reasonable? Sure it is just a guess, an educated guess, we may never know, but there is a ryhme and reason to it all and you should be able to see why people believe these crazy scientists so much.
Another thing - If by studying the rate that certain natural phenoma occurs and then using this data and some simple math we can tell how long certain things have existed, and dates for thousands of things add up perfectly then can't we just let the data speak for it's self? I mean if all of these things are done in a mathematical and scientific manner on their own, and they all add up to tell us the universe is soo old then shouldn't we surrender to all of the undeniable evidence? I just don't see what is so hard about accepting straight proof. |
Becuase humans don't like to admit their wrong. could you imagine the church coming out and saying "uh..yeah we've been wrong the last two thousand years, gods fake, so is jesus.......sorry about that" it will never happen the fanatics will cling to it till the end. I've seen people out there claim dinosaur bones were put there by god to test our faith, thats the most ridiculous idea i've ever heard
