Trade is a sense possessed by humans.

So I was sitting down one day, relaxing, enjoying my vacation... And I was sitting, and thinking... I was observing a bar area... People stood, sat, and gathered at the counter. They asked for a drink, received the drink, and gave the bartender their currency. And I thought to myself... Trade is such an interesting concept. But is it a concept? Or is it a sense? The concept of trade is so simple, but while observing groups of other species... What other animals have a "you get my ______, I get your ______" concept to mull over in their heads?

Actually, I don't really know where I'm going with this. It was a strong thought, but it just died. Chew on that.

exactly. haha. People in my area are trying to establish a 'community' currency system, fuckin hippies it's being fazed in so I don't know how much it's going to catch on...the project will no doubt be a failure, as it's ran by the green party

We have a host of evolutionary innate mechanisms probably designed to set up upon environmental cues with trade. Our trading originally started off as pre-human apes trading or 'lending' food to each other. So theres an 'innate sense' in a way.
