Holy Shit! December 21st, 2012

I know what your thinking... you've heard of this right? Well.. this thread isnt about telling you about it... its talking about it.


I watch the History Channel and Discovery Channel a lot... because you can ALWAYS learn more.

Well, a year or 2 back, i remember watching something about decoding the bible... and i remember something BAD was supposed to happen on 2012.

Since then, i have been falling into this more and more... Ive watched TONS of shows about the Maya and read shit on the internet.


Well, this morning i was laying in bed wid meh girl, and BAM! "Decoding History" comes on... and starts talking about 2012 and it being the end of the solestial cycle or some shit and the sun is going to be in the center of the universe... and the earth will be EVEN at the same time. ((since the Earth kinda wobbles around... not turning like most people think...))


So, i just did a search for "2012" on GrassCity, and i found fucking PAGES of shit.


I want to talk to some more people about this.. and what they think. Do you think it will be the end of the world? Do you think it will just be a MAJOR turning point for the Earth? Do you think nothing of 2012?


I needed to make an updated thread about this, cuz i think this needs to be discussed.

I'm pretty sure something pretty massive is going to happen...but there's a few more things that I would have to see happen before I believed it to be the end of humanity.

I think something is going to happen. I don't think it's going to completely annihilate us or anything, but the evidence is there that some pretty crazy shit is probably going to happen.

i dont think its like Y2K... that was some dumb bullshit... 2012 has been predicted as a crucial time for Earth for like thousands of years

Yeah, something's going to happen, it's going to be 2012!!! Only six years to go. The mayans were full of shit I thank them for chocolate, but the world ain't gonna end just cuz somebody say it is. It's possible though, the supervolcano that is yellowstone nat'l park could erupt....or an asteroid could hit the earth....or we could blow up the earth...As long as physics doesn't change drastically in the next six years i'm not too worried.

yeah supposedly the Earth will be in the exact center of the galaxy on the winter solstice on December 21st, 2012 at 11:11am. some scientists believe there is a black hole at the very center of the galaxy.

I'm guessing that some major political event might occur too, maybe a world war? For some reason the year 2035 gives me bad vibes too.

Cool, that would be the shit...I've always wanted to know what happens once you enter a black hole, have they figured this one out yet I mean I know Hawkings and shit worked on this alot, but is there consensus within the scientific community? Is it just a void? A door or window to some other time or place?

Yo, in that case what if we're not the first. I personally don't think much of it but I don't know alot of it either. But, if it will happen what if there has been so many different kinds of people just having the same shit happening to them. That would be fucking crazy. Or maybe it's always been humans we just keep repeating a cycle that never ends because the humans before could never reach the next cycle in time or just flat out did'nt know. It could be one of the purposes of our existence, to save the next generation of people and overcome this huge dilema. Then the people who do get saved live a crime-free, peaceful and awesome place to live with no war, no angryness, no disease, no nothing. Just a huge world of peace and harmony.

Or maybe I;m blizted out of my skull. We'll never know...
