Ancient Civilizations
Anybody heard of these "pyramids" they are discovering in Bosnia, they arent completely sure but it looks pretty damn near one, they are saying that it is at least 8000 years old right now which would make it preceed the Egyptian pyramids suggested date of 3000 BC or something like that. (www.bosnian-pyramid.com) Anyway, it got me to thinking again about all the evidence that the Egyptians didnt actually build the three pyramids at Giza and their other pyramids were just "knockoffs". What if there was some civilization living thousands of years ago with high technology enough to build these monuments all across the world; China, Mexico, Egypt, Bosnia, and even Italy(check these ones out on google, they are in the same alignment with Orion just like Egypt).
They say that life has only existed in the last "15 minutes" of earths "24 hour life." Maybe there were other iterations of life that happened and were consequently destroyed as Earth was developing and its plates were shifting etc... Just wanted to see what yall thought. |

ancient civilizations arent as stupid as we make them out to be. i might even say they were actually smarter than modern civilization. they were highly advanced with math and astronomy, search into the mayans stuff and youll find out they had more accurate calanders and they knew about many planets way before we did.
whats interesting is that many of the original civilizations were based around spirituality and music. there were no weapons or forts to be found, only instruments, temples and drugs.

who makes them out to be stupid??? i agree, comparatively, we're the stupid ones! we just sit idley on the accumulation of knowledge, discovering far less. though... things do move much more swift on our raft of knowledge. http://www.starroot.com/cgi/daycalc.pl modern interpretation of mayan calander. i highly reccomend a little research on the mayan calander... as i'm sure it will inspire enquiring minds to follow up and do alot of research on it. it's vast, intricate, intertwined, and most importantly, to my knowledge, it's the only calendrics system on earth that claims to be a GALACTIC (and beyond) system, rather than just a localised solar system calendar. make it your homepage it's great getting what the tone of the day is all about... beats looking up several "western" astrology sites or only the day of the week and the date. so informative and concise. anyways... pyramids.... Mayan Pyramids are really interesting for all that comes with them, the culture, the story etc... the chinese (and japanes) ones too, though i havn't looked into them that much yet, also.... the most breathtakingly amazing pyramids in my opinion (and i suspect it to be quite undeniable), are the Indian Pyramids, with all their intricasy and detail, the depth of carving and story, it really makes the Egyptian's look a little bland (sorry). common to loads of them are the possitionings... Orion's belt being the comon theme, and this is not only in "Pyramids", here in Orkney there are "Broughs" (kinda like the base of a holo cone) which also tie in with standing stone circles and the possition of stars ... though at a conference some guy doing a dissertation claimed it had nothing at all to do with the stars and in favour of how they measured ropes for rope making and for navigation.... i don't deny his theory, only befuddled at his unscientificness in dismissing the glaringly obvious that the stars would have been so prominent back then, in a day and age without light pollution and televisual distraction. interesting topic. PS, hey pink oddity.... thats just your perception man. there is much to be discovered yet, and in places all over, improvement occurs. but i do get what your saying. our decadence has maimd us of so much value. side note- hunting not necessary though. just because we have insisor teeth doesn't automatically mean we're "meant" to eat meat as many a meat addict will have us told. many a mamal has such teeth and are used exclusively for tearing open the flesh of FRUIT. we're meant to eat berries. ![]() Last edited by Digit; 07-12-2006 at 11:39 AM. |
