Alright, so it turns out that my desktop that I was multibooting Windows XP, Windows 2000, Ubuntu, and openSUSE on got fucked up. I couldn't access either Windows OS: both gave me a fatal error... Err... so I decided to make the best of the opportunity and attempt to multiboot various Windows OSes.
Anyway, the first OS I tried to install was Windows Me... it appeared to install fine but each time I'd try to reboot from within the OS, I'd just get a black screen with a single flashing underscore (and the computer would have to be switched off manually)...
My question is whether or not I'll be able to get Windows Me working correctly by first installing Windows 98SE and then upgrading to Windows Me. Any thoughts?
Also, how could I install Windows 3.11 for Workgroups if I don't have a floppy drive on that bitch?

What did you expect, it's Windows ME (which stands for "Mistake Edition"). If you want to use a legacy version of Windows stick to 98SE.

lol I already have XP and Windows 7 going well. I had just wanted to see if I could do Windows Me (I like it personally) but it seems my hardware isn't set up for it.

You like Windows ME?
I had to suffer with that for what seems like forever until my dad finally got XP.

2000 OWNS ME in every possible way, worst OS ever = ME. Vista works very nice now that they've gotten two service packs, but 7 is gonna own every windows OS as soon as it's out.
