iPad 3 FAILS!

Who's with me and thinks that the iPad 3 is just another one of those "shafts" that Apple found to fuck people with.

as long as it sells and my Apple stocks go up idgaf....personally i wouldnt buy one though.

Its a great tablet, no doubt. But not much better than the ipad 2. This is only good for people who were planning to buy the ipad 2. It isnt worth selling the 2 for this in my opinion. Its just a way to make money inbetween the real innovations, like the 4s

It looks pretty sick actually.. not sick enough to justify the price tag, but what's new Apple? I haven't payed much attention to the previous iPads so I dunno how it compares to those to really make a vote.

I wouldn't mind getting an e-reader, but something like an iPad is just too many bells and whistles for the extend I'd actually use it

I'm waiting on the the samsung tab that's 11.6"@2560x1600 and definitely gonna be a PLS display, hopefully with OLED backlight for sexy thinness, picture and battery, 8MP cam minimum and 2GB RAM minimum.

Not saying you're a liar but I would be very surprised if this rumor turned to reality.

The HD is a bonus. If that's not necessary, I'd wait... No Siri is disappointing. I wouldn't get one anyway, personally, I have the iPhone 4S and that's enough for me.

Samsung to beat Apple to market with Retina-resolution tablet in February

Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 to be announced tomorrow | Android Community

PLS panels are 15% cheaper to manufacture and if the rumors are true for an S3 to have a 4.8"screen @1920x1080, then Samsung has found a way to shrink their pentile pixels down so small, that their disadvantages are unnoticeable.

But the 11.6" will probably have a PLS OLED backlit hybrid. They would use sturdier colors for the OLED materials and use the PLS to color correct it. It would put the retina to shame and still boast the same 260ppi, but at 1 million more pixels.

I seriously can't believe people don't think the screen is a big deal just because they wanted siri. Fuck siri I use it like once a week if that, this screen will set a new standard in everything. I guess people will shut up about it once it's out at least.

The higher screen resolution means downloads for almost everything will be much bigger. That plus cloud integration with automatic sync means the storage (which hasn't increased in size) will fill up much faster. The next iPad will probably have siri and larger storage as its only improvements. I can see it now, plastered on Apple's homepage: "The new iPad, now with even more room. Starting at $699." Or something to that effect.
