This White Rhino is 7 weeks into flower. She appears to have develped a P deificiency.

should I fert some more, or is it normal this late? (it's my first grow)

If you think you're going to be harvesting her in a week, I wouldn't. IME the plant pretty much dies off in the last week or so before harvest because it's freaking out and putting all it's energy into bud production, (ergo nitrogen defic.) so when my plants look sick that late in the game (assuming it's not fungus or mold) I usually just let them be.

I dont see any amber trichs yet either, is that normal for 7 weeks? I only have an 8x loupe.

by the way, the plants are under a 250w HPS.

I believe he said Let her Be.... dont want to be adding fert at this late stage, just harvest it next week

yea just let the plant go and harvest next week is probably the best thing you can do man. looks like you have a real nice grow going!! are you using soil?? hydro?? aero?? those buds look gorgious for only a 250 hps...my buddy informed me yesterday that we are hoping to use 2 600 watt hps hortilux bulbs in a hydro grow so i hope our buds are massive. goodluck with the rest of your grow and i will be curious to see how your final product looks and weighs. peace

Well you should let her go until she's ready. I have no idea how long that is for White Rhino so you may still have more than a week to go. But if *you* think she needs to be cut in a week, then it's probably best not to add ferts.

My final suggestion

get some liquid plant food and follow the directions on mixing it with GOOD water, like rain water or PH tested TAp water... Water it good with the solution and let it be but dont harvest for 2 weeks.

Buds are looking good soil might be low on minerals right now so boost it up a bit with some plant food (NOT ANYTHING SOLID TIME RELEASED CRAP!)

Also

lil secret, but well known, clip the very tops of the buds off

this will fatten the buds a little more during the last 2 weeks. Plus you get to sample what you have while you wait for the 2 weeks to roll by.

hey, thanks for all the replys, I feel reassured.

the plants are in soil, vegged for 6 weeks (3 weeks CFL's, 3 weeks MH).

its in an 8x8 room, and parents are none the wiser : )

...although I'm 20 so my room is always kept locked.

Thats some very nice buds, now that i see more of a closeup of it, i say just leave it as it is
and harvest it next week.....

maybe on the next grow, u can add a bit more N during the early stage of flowering. this will keep the lush green a bit longer and produce better.

but this grow is done and dont add anything now.

you have a calcium deficency also see the brown tips on the outer leaf edging that the start of it but wouldnt worry about it the look fine..
