Azamax - Floramite - Avid - spider mite miticides. Any info?

  1. I recently bought all 3 of these for my small size spider mite problem. still in in veg for a few weeks longer, was wondering what one to start out with? they say rotate the use of them so you don't create a mite that becomes tolerant to the miticide's. Anyone with any info or have used any of these before please leave a comment.

  2. anybody with anything to say at all ever?

  3. Hi.

Since u got alotta time until harvest, u best be knockin those bastards out in one, big-ass treatment. Get yerself a Doktor Doom fogger or bomb (bomb is best).

But if ya only wanna use one of the ones u have there, Id go with the Avid. Its the most potent one.

  4. Azamax is an organic equivalent of neem oil. The neem is in an organic suspension instead of an oil. Whatever miticide you use, if you mix it with a 50/50 water/rubbing alcohol mix you will pretty much nuke any mite you hit. The water/alcohol mix will kill any mites immediately (so will the neem) and the neem residue should kill any that hit it before it evaporates. The key is to be thorough - be SURE to get all leaf undersides. That is where the eggs and the mites are. You may want to get a magnifying glass so that you can take a look at the undersides of any damaged leaves after you have sprayed and the plant is dried. If everything is dead and unmoving, check again in a few days just in case some eggs lived. You will probably be best served by spraying several times over a 7-8 day period to make sure you break up the entire reproductive cycle (#@$% mites, anyway). Hope this helps.

  5. Very good info.

I just have to add tho - only use the alcohol up to flower.

Remember, Alcohol is one of the things, besides another oil, that THC is soluble in.
Dont wanna be washin away the good stuff now ;) !!!

  6. Dont use avid at all.it causes horrible lung cancers and respiratory problems, when smoking buds that have been treated with avid you absorb harmful chemicals through your lung tissue and into bloodstream..its all bad..azamax or azatrol works great or predator mites.

  7. also hot shot pest strips work great indoor or out just hang them around your plants

  8. Thats why u use avid in veg only ^^

Middleton's spider Miticide is not harmful cause it's all natural and it's pretty cheap like 5 bucks on ebay, works wonders
