Here are the plants just TWO days later... are they starting to grow like normal?

They didn't stop growing from heat, they are nute burned from that soil. Seedlings do not like MG soil, the nutes are way too strong. Sometimes you'll get a weak bag and survive but in general,.....cooked. Those cfl's should be inches away.

To me they look overwatered/drowned, under lit, and nutrient burnt. Just a little bit of each all contributed to a massive amount of stress. Sometimes though, just because a plant isn't growing up doesn't mean it isn't growing. Minimal ammounts of vitamins in a soil could cause your plants to focus energy on root structures rather than foliage. Get a fan directly on them to strengthen the stems and the capillaries to transport more nutrients to the canopy. Keep those CFLs at a min of 1" away and a maximum of 3" away. Allow the soil to go completely dry before establishing a regular watering schedule. Don't spray them with anything. Time. |

Transplanted them into bigger pots that actually have good drainage in Shults potting soil. How long until they recover from this and start growing full force? Oh and the roots on the plants almost filled the party cups! Does it matter if some of the old soil got in with the new stuff?
