feed it u need Macro-nutrients (n-p-k) and Secondary Nutrients (mg and ca) u have a nitrogen (n) and magnesium (mg) deficiency. she looks about 2 months old so all the food is used up in the soil, and nitrogen is usually the first to show up. try feeding it a heavy dose with a soil formula n-p-k nutrient, and heavey dose of cal-mag (calcium and magnesium) then light dose of cal mag with every watering and feed every 3-4 waterings she should get back to normle in a week

get cal mag at any hydro stor or nursery, u can give it epsion sailt (magnesium sulfate) to take care of the mg dificiency, if the n-p-k formula says it good for soil it will work.

thank you so much! a couple more questions. would you advise i continue to put a little bit of lime juice in the water still to stabilize a healthy ph level? second, are the $6 soil ph meters at the hardware stores sufficient enough for this? thanks again

do not adjust the ph unless u know what the ph is at, yeah the cheap ones will do just test the water before every waterings also test the run off after u water, u should be watering with 6.0-7.0 for soil 6.8 is ideal

ok so i havent been able to find anywhere to get cal mag locally and i would rather not have to buy it online. would cal mag vitamin tablets or any variation of cal mag work instead or do i have to get the liquid calmag meant for plants

the way we absorb minerals and the way plants do are totally different (actually we can only absorb it after plants absorb it and make it soluble) if u cant get cal-mag, tap water (aftet it sits for 24h) has alot of minerals in it (some times to much) to take care of calcium and other secondary and trace minerals. also watering with epsion sait (magnesium sulfate) 1-2 tbls per gal of water, will treat a magnesium dificiency. the epsin salt must be completly dissolved in the water. a fast way of doing this is heat a qrt of water add 1-2 tbls stir then add to 3 qrts of room temp water
