Then you have to wash your flowers. Bad idea..
unless you like smoking sulfur.

Better to fix by removing infected plants, proper ventilation and proper growing conditions.

Use fungicides as last resort, the ones I've seen/tried will have a negative effect on your fruits.

Re: powdery mildew problem..plzz HELP!

If you stop burning the sulfur doesn't the PM come back?
I haven't seen it be able to be completely eliminated here yet. Not even with sulfur. There is no CURE for powder mildew.
There's usually other problems involved too.
All the sulfur does is stop it from germinating.

Go spend $200 on a burner and hope it lasts through flowering even though you can't us it while flowering,

Get mold resistant plants,

Or try defender for $15 or whatever it is for the small bottle, (chemical, wouldn't use on flowers)

or try "safer" fungicide and watch it keep coming back, (careful, it burns! Dilute it some!)

Or find the real problem.. (possibly not easy, maybe expensive and time consuming)

Remember, all that stuff was designed for washable fruits.
Unless you want to use it through flowering and wash your nugs you'll probably have problems.

Re: powdery mildew problem..plzz HELP!

PM is hard to contain, sulfur burn will help until flower stg, sometimes pm are no longer present, but during flower stg I used a concentrate called serenade. It help with PM, but I have not successfully combat PM during flower. After spraying the serenade I did notice the PM go away, but only for it to come back 5-8 days later. I been told its safe to spray serenade until harvest. hopefully this help.

Re: powdery mildew problem..plzz HELP!

I had a bad case of PM when I first starting vegging my plants. The person that gave me the clones passed it on to me. I tried doing sulfur burns and sprays, and noticed that the sulfur burn worked the best. Most likely it's going to be something you might have to battle the whole way out. But I would also say go with a sulfur burn, a real sulfur burn, don't try doing some cheaper way of burning it.

Re: powdery mildew problem..plzz HELP!

Try neem oil, I personally used it and it worked flawlessly. You can use it all the way until a couple weeks before flowering and its organic so you don't have to worry about any chemicals. I use 1oz pure neem oil, 1tsp dish soap(emulsifier) per gallon of ph adjusted ro water. Sprayed on every two weeks until harvest and your powdery mildew(or any other mold) issues should disappear. Pure neem oil can be had for pretty cheap on ebay. Good luck dude peace

Re: powdery mildew problem..plzz HELP!

Neem oil will work until flowering. I still don't like any of that on my flowers because I won't wash them. It also alters smell and taste. These are important factors with herb.

If you don't treat PM every two weeks, it won't go away. That's why a burner won't work for anything more than veg and the trouble will come back in flower. Remember I refuse to spray anything on my nugs. Even the manual in the sulfur burner says to wash your shiat! That's why I refuse to buy/try it. I can't wash my beautiful homegrown.

I just had to harvest my plants early. They kept spotting with PM. I would pull the leaves and try something new over and over again but every few weeks it comes back. Luckily I harvested before any mildew was on or anywhere near the buds. Only problem was I had to harvest them early to achieve no mildew on them. You can see my grow thread. I just harvested like 11 ounces wet. It's drying now..

I also believe my plants got it from a clone I brought home one day. All my plants were clones at first too so that's pretty much the only way I could have got it. My master x bubba I just had to harvest early were clones.

I will never buy another clone again unless I'm putting it outside or plucking it from my own mother plant I grew from seed.

My two bagseed I grew never got mold. My four hashwrecks grown from seed I have now never got mold.. (yet, knock on freakin wood!)

Re: powdery mildew problem..plzz HELP!

Good luck man to be honest I haven't had a PM problem in a while(knock on wood). Had it a couple years back, sprayed my solution on in early vegging and it didn't come back so I never had to spray it again.
