After harvesting I dried my crop for about 5 days hanging up, then another 2 in paper bags. Afterwords I trimmed them up and put them in a plastic pretzel jar to cure. After the first day of curing I opened up the jar to air out, there was moisture accumulated on the inside of the jar so I wiped it and let it air out more then released it and went to bed. Day 2 of curing I checked on the nugs and noticed white stuff on two of the nugs ( I suspect it to be mold) and there was a substantial amount of moisture on the inside of the jar. I am freaking out, I dont want to lose my harvest to mold. I'm thinking its a little too wet to cure, so I laid them all out to examine the batch as a whole, the mold seemed to be localized to those two nugs I spoke about earlier. I plan on putting them back in the jar before I go to bed, but leaving the jar top off, and seeing how it looks and feels in the next 36 hours. Am I taking the best course of action? What else can I do? Is there a better way of dealing with this? Am I over reacting?
I appreciate all advice and comments
