HELP, What is curling my leaves; Pics included

Okay, here are a few leaves i just plucked off my plant. Ive had this reoccuring problem since last years indoor grow. Ive posted before, but finally have pics.

I guess its either over or under watering, possibly heat from my lamps.

I use a 75w HPS and a 125w HPS. I keep the plants at least 8" or more away from the lamps. I water when the soil is dry about 1-2" down from the surface. Ive tried to water more and less and can't seem to pin down what it is.

Anyone else had this happen? Its got to be a common thing im guessing if ive got it two years in a row now. The leaves curl under, looks like under water...but man im keep'n them pretty wet now.

So;
Over water?
Under water?
Can these leaves recover; or do I need to just keep an eye on new growth?

Thanks all.

Yes, they will recover if not damaged to much. I gotta agree with the heat issue. However, I do not see any crispies or burn spots. Ambient air temps can bring up the temps in your rootzone causeing this kind of curl. A fan blowing below the canopy is not a bad idea either. Do you have a passive intake or forced? A fan blowing between the plant tops and the lamp may help a little. I'd double check your ventilation. Backing off the lamp should be automatic anytime your plants are seeing some stress. It gives them a little break from the intense light and helps them recover. Something to remember...lol. tc gm714

Well the curling begins at the top of the plants and works it way downward. Ill move them back and see if i notice progress in the right direction.
