Headband's upper leaves closing while bottom leave's tips are curling down

Hey everybody i hope someone can tell me whats going on here - i have a month old plant that just got transplanted into a new pot and switched from cfl's to hps 400 watt for flower. It has been 5 day on hps and 3rd day since transplant from smaller pot.

The upper leaves have almost started to curl shut like a taco - but it isn't hot in there (although it was moved closer to the hps ligt - about 1 foot away from it)

the bottome leaves are much darker and the tips are yellow and pointing down. All leaves feel a little dryer then normal and it has been watered recently as well as excellent drainage.

It is in organic soil with ca and mg added. Please let me know what else you need to know and look at the pictures i provided.

There is plenty of air and the hps is being vented out of the grow room - with the cool air coming in through the bottom and hot out the top. Please look at pics and let me know - feel free to give me tips on anything about it! I am new to this!

Ok if it was doing fine before it got closer you think the next move is to lower it? it seemed to have no shock from transplant either - although the leaves that are curling are the new set that have come out since transplant. Growing so fast its new pair of leaves doesnt look bad. I might wait it out - could be male and suck!
